I had them made very recently after looking at some samples and pictures of recent patients. Gum shields would have been a far more attractive option for me. They were very uncomfortable. It felt like there was empty spaces between the teeth and the Snap on. I would...

This is not a solution for anything except maybe as a very expensive mouth guard for contact sports. Or if I want to be Gary Busey for Halloween. It was so big in my mouth that I couldn't talk - ironically, I wanted this for job interviews. Then the dentist came in and...

I am confirming what anonymous said. My dentist advised the snap on to realign my jaw because the dentinogenesis caused my teeth to be abnormally smaller than normal and offset my ***.

We are proceeding to permanent Work, but this is only for the meantime.

I only wear the snap on when I go out- not at night or at home. I also limit beverages to water while wearing them and do not eat food out if I cannot get home to brush or floss my real teeth and snap on right away afterwards.

I purchqsed upper and lower snap on smile teeth as an " affordable allternative " at $3000. They lasted about 8 months before I chewed through them in multiple places.

Fortunately ( I use that with great sarcasm) they were atill under warranty. The waranty replacement took a long time to arrive, andwhen they did, they did not fit. They would come ofd in my mouth every time I tried to eat. I returned them to my dentist, and was told to continue wearing my original pair untill the warranty work could be replaced.

More weeks followed, as food was pressed through the holes in th Snap on Smile teeth, and the lower plate finally broke. I continued to put the broken teeth back in until the broken part came loose in my mouth while eating. I bit down on them, breaking them further, and swallowing the bottom front portion of the teeth. Still no replacements, and I had no choice but to keep useing the now broken and gapped teeth for more weeks.

When the tewth finally arived it was Christmas time, and UPS could not deliver before th dentist closed for the holidays. The dentist did go to UPS to pick up the teerh, adter Christmas, and met me to put them in. I bit down on some marking paper and was pronounced fitted. The new waranty teerh no put great pressure on my existing teeth, and cause consideeable pain.

When I originally saw my dentist I had no problems with TMJ or popping jaw bones.

I do now. I am very dissatisfied.
